Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented mechanical design engineer to develop innovative mechanical systems and components using CAD tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design process—from concept development to production drawings—ensuring efficiency, functionality, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).

Perform calculations for stress, tolerance, thermal, and vibration analysis.

Create 2D drawings, 3D models, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and procurement.

Participate in design reviews and implement feedback for optimization.

Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality norms.

Assist in prototype development, testing, and validation.

Document all phases of the design and development process.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

1–4 years of experience in mechanical design (freshers can also be considered for junior roles).

Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIA.

Strong understanding of mechanical principles, GD&T, and material properties.

Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills (optional):

Knowledge of FEA/CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).

Experience in sheet metal, plastic components, or fabrication processes.

Exposure to manufacturing techniques like machining, welding, injection molding.
