Mechanical Design - Rotary Equipment (Ahmedabad Location)

Responsibilities

• Working experience of National and international codes and standards with fair understanding of API standards like API 610/682/619/614/681/672 etc
• Fair understanding of interdisciplinary interface required with package items 
• Basic and detailed engineering work experience of Projects for refinery, chemical and petrochemical industries including coordination with Licensors, PMC, Vendors and other stake holders.
• Exposure of Technical specification preparation, bid review, bid clarification meetings, Supplier selection, progress review meeting, liaise with other engineering functionals and coordinate cross functional review of supplier drawings compliant to project requirement etc.
• Represent the machinery engineering function in cross function project meeting including P&ID review, HAZOP, Layout review, risk assessment, design review, model review & FAT at vendors works.
• Fair understanding of rotating equipment including API & non-API Pumps/Compressor/Mechanical seal, Fan and Blower, agitators etc.
• Experience of handling packages like DM Unit / Refrigeration unit / ETP/ Nitrogen PSA/Air Dryer/FBD/Cooling towers etc.
• Experience of handling technical queries from site work, Vendors works, Quality assurance etc.

Qualifications

Degree with Mechanical Egnineering - 10years+ experience as per Job description
