Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Technician – Job DetailsPosition: Operation & Maintenance Technician

Industry: Water Supply / Pumping Station / Electrical Systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pumps, motors, and electrical panels.
• Perform routine maintenance of pumps, pipelines, valves, and motors.
• Check electrical connections, switchgear, and control panels.
• Maintain daily log sheets of pump operation and system performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Ensure proper functioning of pumping station equipment.
• Follow safety procedures during operation and maintenance work.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for repairs and maintenance.

Qualification:

• ITI (Electrician / Fitter / Pump Mechanic) or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in pumping station / water supply / electrical maintenance.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of pump operation and maintenance.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Understanding of motors, valves, pipelines, and control panels.
• Ability to work in shift duty.
