Responsibilities

Partnership Manager - O4

Sponsorship Proposals and Presentations:

  • Create tailored sponsorship proposals and deliver persuasive presentations to secure sponsorship deals.
  • Work with the marketing and creative teams to develop presentation materials that effectively communicate the value of partnering with SportsLine.
  • Assist in conducting market reviews and researching new vendors or sponsorship opportunities, staying informed about the latest trends in sports merchandising and fan engagement.
  • Support the analysis of vendor quotations and feedback to ensure the quality and reliability of materials and services in the sports industry, focusing on maximizing value for the sports fan base.

Sponsorship and Client Engagement:

  • Actively pursue new sponsorship opportunities by presenting SportsLine as an attractive partner to potential sponsors.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement with SportsLine's offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful presentations and materials that highlight the benefits of sponsorship, enhancing the overall appeal to potential partners.
  • Develop and implement a feedback mechanism to assess sponsor satisfaction and gather insights for continuous improvement in sponsorship offerings and engagement strategies.

Market Analysis and Sponsorship Planning:

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential sponsors and understand their marketing objectives and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to develop targeted sponsorship packages that meet the needs of potential sponsors.
  • Leverage insights from market research to propose innovative sponsorship solutions that align with the strategic goals of both SportsLine and its partners.

Contract Negotiation and Closure:

  • Negotiate sponsorship terms and agreements, working closely with the legal team to finalize contracts.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and closure of sponsorship deals, and contributing to SportsLine's financial objectives.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team during negotiations to ensure alignment with brand messaging and promotional strategies.

Reporting and Sponsorship Activation:

  • Provide regular updates on sponsorship activities, pipeline, and forecasts to the Head of Commercial.
  • Assist in the activation of sponsorship agreements, coordinating with internal teams to deliver on partnership commitments.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement activation strategies that maximize the impact of sponsorships and enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Work Experience:

At least 7+ years of experience in sponsorship strategy with a strong emphasis on sponsor acquisition in the sports industry.

Preferred Industry:

Experience in the sports industry is highly preferred, especially in roles related to sponsor acquisition and sports marketing.
