About the Company

Tellentsynq Pvt Ltd supports workforce and staffing operations for Canadian clients across industries such as logistics, cargo handling, warehousing, and industrial services. Our India team operates as the centralized back-office for workforce scheduling, payroll administration, compliance management, and operational support.


We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Workforce Compliance Specialist responsible for payroll processing, employee documentation management, and ensuring compliance with Canadian workforce regulations.



Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Administration

• Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for temporary staffing employees

• Verify approved hours from timesheets before payroll processing

• Calculate overtime, statutory holiday pay, and applicable deductions

• Ensure payroll complies with Canadian provincial labour regulations

• Maintain payroll records and payroll summaries

• Coordinate with operations teams to resolve payroll discrepancies

• Maintain accurate payroll data and employee payment records



2. Workforce Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain complete documentation for all employees assigned to client sites

• Ensure workers complete required onboarding documentation

• Track employee identification, eligibility, and contract documentation

• Maintain organized digital records of employment contracts, agreements, and timesheets

• Ensure required documentation is audit-ready at all times



3. Regulatory Compliance Monitoring

• Ensure payroll and employment records comply with Canadian labour standards

• Maintain documentation required for regulatory or internal audits

• Assist with documentation required for workers’ compensation and insurance

• Monitor regulatory requirements affecting temporary staffing workers



4. Workforce Record Management

• Maintain centralized employee records database

• Ensure proper storage and organization of all workforce documents

• Track expiry dates for required worker documentation

• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and payroll records



5. Operational Coordination

• Work closely with scheduling and operations teams to verify approved timesheets

• Ensure payroll data aligns with shift records and attendance reports

• Assist in improving internal documentation and payroll processes

• Prepare internal reports related to payroll accuracy and workforce documentation



Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

• 2–5 years experience in payroll administration, HR compliance, or workforce documentation

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

• Strong organizational and record management skills

• Ability to handle confidential payroll and employee data responsibly

• Strong written and verbal communication skills



Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting international or Canadian operations

• Experience working with staffing agencies or workforce management companies

• Familiarity with payroll calculations involving overtime and shift-based workers

• Experience working with payroll or HR management software
