Job Description
A store picker (or order picker) is responsible for efficiently locating, selecting, and packing customer orders from store shelves or warehouse storage to prepare them for shipment or pickup. They ensure order accuracy, maintain inventory records using scanners, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Locate items on shelves based on pick lists or digital handheld scanners, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
- Packing and Inspection: Examine items for damage, securely pack them for delivery, and label packages appropriately.
