Procurement Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source quality vendors for materials, equipment, and services.
• Collect quotations (RFQ), compare prices, and negotiate for the best rates & credit terms.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) as per company requirements.
• Coordinate with stores, site teams, and project managers to understand material requirements.
• Ensure timely purchase & on-time delivery of all materials and consumables.
• Maintain records of POs, GRN, invoices, and vendor documents.
• Track and follow up on material delivery, dispatch status, and logistics arrangements.
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain the approved vendor list.
• Maintain and update purchase reports, daily procurement status, and cost sheets.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, GST rules, and audit requirements.
• Resolve any issues related to material quality, shortages, or delays.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Graduate / Diploma with experience in the procurement or purchase department.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of GST, taxation, vendor onboarding, and purchasing processes.
• Ability to read material specifications, BOQ, and understand project requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, emails, and purchase documentation.
• Good coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple vendors and projects.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working under deadlines.
