Job Purpose: The role is responsible for managing and analyzing data related to gold and silver recovery, cost analysis, rate trends, and process efficiency in the Precious Metals team. It involves leveraging data analytics to optimize operations, improve financial decision-making, and support strategic initiatives. The individual will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance data-driven business processes and reporting.

Lead Ops & Analytics - Precious Metals

Operations & Data Analytics:

Analyze and monitor gold and silver recovery rates, cost trends, and operational efficiencies.

Develop data models and dashboards to provide insights on key performance indicators.

Perform variance analysis on cost, yield, and rate fluctuations to support decision-making.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and business functions.

Business Support & Process Optimization:

Identify opportunities to optimize refining, processing, and cost management.

Implement data-driven strategies to improve recovery efficiency and reduce losses.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with analytical insights.

Assist in automation and digitization of data management processes.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting:

Collaborate with finance, sourcing, and operations teams to align business goals with data insights.

Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, providing clear and actionable insights.

Work with external partners to gather market intelligence and pricing trends.

Act as a liaison between business teams and technology teams to streamline reporting tools.

Compliance, Documentation & Industry Insights:

Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and financial policies.

Maintain structured documentation of cost models, recovery rate data, and process reports.

Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in precious metals analytics.

Support internal audits and quality checks related to data integrity.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Work Experience (Range of years):

4–8 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or operations management in metals, mining, or commodities.
