Job Summary:-

The Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring manufacturing operations for various chemical products. The role ensures safe, efficient, and quality-driven production while maintaining compliance with statutory and safety norms.

• Key Responsibilities:-
• Manage day-to-day production activities for liquid and powder-based chemical products
• Ensure production as per batch sheets, SOPs, and process parameters
• Monitor reactors, mixers, dryers, blenders, and material handling operations
• Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure product quality and consistency
• Ensure compliance with EHS norms, MSDS, and safety procedures
• Troubleshoot process deviations and minimize downtime
• Optimize yield, reduce wastage, and improve productivity
• Maintain batch manufacturing records (BMR), production logs, and shift reports
• Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Control raw material consumption and coordinate with stores & planning team
• Support scale-up, new product trials, and process improvements
• Train operators and helpers on SOPs and safety practices
• Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits
• Educational Qualification:-
• B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
• OR
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering with BSC CHEMISTRY relevant plant experience
• Experience0to 3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing plant
• Exposure to construction chemicals / agro chemicals / specialty chemicals preferred
• Technical SkillsKnowledge of batch & continuous chemical processes
• Understanding of SNF / lignosulfonate / dispersant manufacturing (preferred)
• Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and safety standards
• Basic understanding of ETP operations and waste handling
• Ability to read P&ID and process flow diagrams
