Job Description

  • Production Executive with 2 years of experience in planning daily production, coordinating with shopfloor teams, and supporting quality control activities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in preparing basic production schedules, tracking WIP, and ensuring timely completion of jobs while maintaining quality standards and documentation.
  • Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing and updating daily/weekly production plans based on orders and available capacity, and coordinate material readiness with stores.
  • Monitor production progress on the shopfloor, follow up with operators, record output, downtime, and report deviations from plan to seniors.
  • Carry out in-process and final inspections using basic measuring instruments as per drawings and control plans, and record inspection results.
  • Identify nonconforming parts, segregate and record rejections/rework, and support root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Skills and CompetenciesGood understanding of production processes, basic capacity planning concepts, and shopfloor data collection (output, rejection, machine utilization).
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, use measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges), and follow SOPs and quality standards.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and basic ERP or production tracking software for planning and reporting, with strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Typical Education and BackgroundDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical stream.
  • Around 2 years of experience as Production Executive / Junior Production Engineer / Production Planning & Control Assistant / QC Executive in a manufacturing company.
