Production / Manufacturing Head

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations in our Raincoat manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in production planning, team management, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage production across all departments (Cutting, Stitching, Welding, Printing, Packing)
• Ensure timely and efficient production as per order requirements
• Maintain quality standards and minimize defects or rework
• Monitor inventory of raw materials, accessories, and finished goods
• Coordinate with the purchase and sales teams for planning and dispatch
• Implement and maintain production reporting systems and factory registers
• Manage worker attendance, discipline, and performance
• Reduce wastage and improve overall productivity
• Follow safety and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as Production Manager or similar role in garment or rainwear industry
• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes and machinery
• Ability to manage a large team of workers and supervisors
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with production software or ERP preferred
• Flexible to work in a fast-paced environment
