Project Finance Manager
1. Project Financing & Financial Closure
-Lead end-to-end project financing for solar, wind, hybrid, and pumped storage projects.
-Prepare information memoranda (IMs), project teasers, and financial models for presentation to lenders and investors.
-Liaise with banks, DFIs, NBFCs, and multilateral agencies for arranging project and refinancing debt.
-Evaluate and negotiate term sheets, loan covenants, and security structures to optimize funding costs.
-Coordinate due diligence, documentation, and financial closure processes with internal legal, technical, and commercial teams.
-Support green bond issuances, ECB funding, and syndicated financing in coordination with treasury and capital market teams.
-Maintain and track disbursement schedules, debt service, and compliance reporting post-financial closure.
2. Financial Modelling & Analysis
-Build and manage detailed financial models for renewable projects to assess project viability, equity returns, and debt serviceability.
-Perform sensitivity, scenario, and break-even analyses to support investment decisions and lender negotiations.
-Model capital structures and optimize debt-equity mix aligned with AGEL’s long-term financing strategy.
-Conduct valuation analysis for acquisitions, joint ventures, and refinancing opportunities.
-Support bidding teams with pricing inputs and post-bid financial assessment.
3. MIS & Business Performance Reporting
-Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS on project financial performance and cash flows.
-Monitor project-level KPIs — generation, PLF, cost overruns, DSCR, and IRR deviations.
-Consolidate project financials for management dashboards and board reviews.
-Track loan drawdowns, repayments, and covenant compliances across project SPVs.
-Drive automation and process improvements in MIS and reporting systems.
4. Rating, Investor & Equity Deck Management
-Manage interactions with credit rating agencies — preparing rating rationales, data submissions, and management presentations.
-Support corporate and project-level credit rating reviews, including ESG-linked rating processes.
-Prepare Equity Decks and Investor Presentations highlighting AGEL’s portfolio, growth pipeline, and financial performance.
-Collaborate with investors and equity partners for periodic updates, due diligence, and funding discussions.
Support preparation of board materials, investment notes, and management review documents.
5. Strategic Financial Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination
-Collaborate with business development, operations, treasury, and legal teams on new projects and acquisitions.
-Evaluate new financing structures such as InvITs, holdco financing, and hybrid instruments.
-Provide financial analysis support for corporate strategy, M&A, and growth capital initiatives.
-Benchmark funding costs, rating methodologies, and market terms across the renewable sector.
-Align all financing and reporting activities with AGEL’s sustainability, ESG, and green finance frameworks.
Education:
-Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
-CFA / Infrastructure Finance specialization preferred.
-Exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or power sector finance required.
Experience:
-15–20 years of experience in project finance, renewable energy, or infrastructure financing.
-Proven experience in debt syndication, financial closure, and lender relationship management.
-Hands-on experience in financial modelling, rating processes, and MIS reporting.
-Experience with green bonds, ECBs, and sustainability-linked financing is highly desirable.
