Purchase Executive

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Engineer to join our procurement team in a machinery manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring goods, materials, and services required for production, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The Purchase Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and design.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing and Procurement:
2. Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers for machinery parts, raw materials, and services.
3. Negotiate prices, lead times, and terms with suppliers.
4. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
5. Supply Chain Management:
6. Monitor and analyze market trends, supply chain disruptions, and potential risks.
7. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
8. Quality Control:
9. Collaborate with the quality department to ensure supplier quality standards.
10. Conduct audits and assessments of supplier facilities and processes.
11. Communication and Collaboration:
12. Work closely with production, design, and quality teams to ensure procurement alignment.
13. Communicate with suppliers, resolving issues and ensuring timely delivery.
14. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
15. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
16. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
