Purchase Executive (Technical)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle purchase activities for technical and engineering materials.
• Source vendors and obtain quotations for machinery parts and raw materials.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Verify technical specifications before finalizing purchases.
• Maintain purchase records, bills, and vendor data.
• Monitor material availability to avoid production delays.
• Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms with vendors.
• Ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely procurement of materials.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical or engineering materials.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, MS Office).
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Education Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical or related field)
• OR
• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or related field)
