Purchase Manager

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, vendor coordination, order planning, and ensuring timely availability of materials/products while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase PlanningPlan and execute purchase orders based on stock levels and demand forecasts
• Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and operations teams for requirement planning
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid stock shortages
• Vendor ManagementIdentify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers
• Request quotations (RFQ) and compare pricing and terms
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Order ManagementGenerate and track Purchase Orders (POs)
• Follow up with vendors for timely delivery
• Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns
• Inventory CoordinationMonitor inventory levels and reorder points
• Avoid overstocking and excess inventory
• Coordinate with warehouse for stock verification and GRN (Goods Receipt Note)
• Documentation & ReportingMaintain purchase records, invoices, and vendor details
• Prepare monthly purchase and cost reports
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies
• Required SkillsStrong negotiation and vendor coordination skills
• Knowledge of purchase processes and inventory planning
• Good analytical and cost comparison ability
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/Purchase software
• Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
• Eligibility CriteriaBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
• Experience in FMCG, beauty, skincare, retail, or distribution preferred
