Purchasing Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance, including negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of goods and services.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast future needs, and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely procurement.
• Compliance: Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, procedures, and budget constraints.
• Cost Control: Continuously monitor and evaluate purchase costs, seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.

Accounting Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, match them with purchase orders and receipts, and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Expense Allocation: Record and allocate expenses to the correct accounts in the financial system.
• Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable, vendor statements, and related accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
