Reservation Agent

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. The Reservation Agent will be responsible for handling reservations and bookings for our hotels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in making reservations for hotels via phone, email, or online platforms.
• Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding availability, pricing, policies, and procedures.
• Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Utilize reservation software/systems to input and manage bookings efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, upgrades, or packages to customers.
• Maintain detailed records of bookings and transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with team members, including other reservation agents and customer service representatives, to ensure seamless operations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and company policies through ongoing training and development initiatives.
• Adhere to company standards for compliance, including privacy regulations and data protection.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality, tourism, or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a customer service or reservations role preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using reservation software/systems; experience with [insert specific software/system] is an advantage.
