Job Description:

ComfyMart is seeking a well-presented and customer-focused Counter Sales Executive to manage walk-in customers and drive in-store sales for our home furnishing products, including curtains, mattresses, bedsheets, pillows, and upholstery. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth, informative, and pleasant buying experience while maintaining high standards of service and store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable products.
• Clearly explain product features, materials, sizes, pricing, and usage to customers.
• Close sales efficiently and achieve individual and store-level sales targets.
• Handle billing, invoicing, and basic POS operations accurately.
• Maintain proper display, cleanliness, and organization of products at the sales counter.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and backend team for stock availability and order fulfillment.
• Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
• Maintain daily sales records and support basic reporting requirements.
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant products to enhance the customer’s shopping experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in retail or counter sales (home furnishings preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented attitude with a polite and professional demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of billing systems and inventory handling.
• Ability to understand product specifications and explain them clearly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in curtains, mattresses, furniture, or textile retail.
• Familiarity with fabric types, sizes, and basic interior usage is an advantage.
