Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and technically sound Sales Engineer to drive our business growth in the Ahmedabad region and beyond. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving customer problems, possesses a strong understanding of electrical products, and is driven to build long-term, trusted relationships. You will be the crucial link between our advanced product portfolio and our customers' technical needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory, focusing on target segments (Panel Builders, Electrical Contractors, EPC, Construction Machine OEMs, Industrial Plants, Consultants).
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and present compelling technical and commercial offers, ensuring quick turnaround.
  • Negotiate contracts and close orders, managing the entire sales cycle.

Technical Support & Customer Engagement:

  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our offerings (e.g., Switchgear, Busbar Trunking, Wires & Cables, Energy Meters). Knowledge of Legrand Products will be an added advantage.
  • Understand client requirements in depth and provide technically accurate solutions, often in consultation with our in-house engineering team.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with key decision-makers at existing and potential client accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new potential applications for our products.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on market needs and customer insights.
