Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer located in Ahmedabad. The Sales Engineer objective will be drive Sales growth, Give technical support and build strong customer relations
The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients.
> Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Development
◦Identify new potential customers through desk and field research.
•Convert inquiries to orders through effective product presentation and follow-up.
• Maintain and grow sales with existing clients through regular visits and calls.
•Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to quarterly/ annual revenue goals.
2. Product & Technical Understanding
.•Understand about our Buisness as an OEM and different verticals of our Buisness and its capabilities to cater our customers better.
•Understand about different Stainless Steel grades,
•Understanding different S.S products, Forgings and Precision Components.
•Communicate product features and benefits customer will be getting by choosing Bhawal Metal Industries.
•Give Technical support to clients wherever its needed.
• Coordinate with the technical/production team for customer-specific requirements.
•Should Know how to read technical drawings and interpret it efficiently.
•Proficient with Excel and Gmail. if knows Solidworks or other Cad software its a plus!
3. Market & Customer Relationship
◦Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with vendors, other employee and customers.
•Visit sites, workshops, and plants to understand usage pattern and demand.
• Collect market intelligence on competitor pricing, new projects, and material demand trends.
4. Order & Payment Coordination
•Ensure order booking, rate approval, dispatch follow-up, and customer support.
•Track payment collection as per credit policy and follow-up for overdue accounts.
•Coordinate with accounts and dispatch teams for smooth execution.
5. Reporting & Documentation
•Maintain daily visit reports, order pipeline sheet, and collection status.
•Update customer database (CRM / Excel sheets as required).
.Participate in weekly review meetings.
> Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Engineering or related field
Experience
1-3 Years in Industrial Sales / B2B Sales / Technical sales(Preferably PrecisionComponents, Industrial Hardware, Machinery)
Age Limit
20-35 Years
Driving License
Two-wheeler license mandatory; Candidate must have own bike (conveyance allowance will be provided),
