Job TitleSolar Sales Executive (Rooftop / EPC Solutions)

🔹 Job SummaryWe are looking for a target-driven Solar Sales Executive to generate, manage, and close solar rooftop projects (Residential / Commercial / Industrial). The role involves field sales, site visits, client consultations, and coordination with internal teams to deliver profitable solar solutions.

  • 🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentGenerate leads through field activity, referrals, and assigned inquiries
  • Conduct client meetings and site surveys
  • Understand customer energy requirements and propose suitable solar solutions
  • Present and explain ROI, savings, and payback period
  • Prepare and explain quotations in coordination with the technical team
  • Close sales within defined pricing and approval limits
  • Customer & Process ManagementEnsure 100% billing through company system only
  • Collect required documents (KYC, electricity bills, site photos, approvals)
  • Follow up for payments as per company policy (no cash handling)
  • Maintain strong post-sale relationship till project handover
  • Reporting & DisciplineUpdate daily activity and sales reports (DSR)
  • Track lead status and follow-up schedules in CRM / Excel
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and installation teams
  • Adhere strictly to company sales ethics and compliance rules
  • 🔹 Required Skills & CompetenciesMandatoryField sales experience (B2C / B2B)
  • Strong communication in local language + Hindi
  • Negotiation and deal-closing ability
  • Willingness to work on targets and deadlines
  • Basic digital skills (WhatsApp, email, Excel)
  • PreferredKnowledge of solar rooftop systems (on-grid / hybrid / off-grid – basic)
  • Understanding of net metering & subsidy process (basic)
  • Ability to explain energy savings and financial benefits
  • 🔹 Eligibility Criteria1–4 years experience in solar / EPC / electrical / construction sales
  • Diploma / BE / B.Tech (Electrical preferred, not mandatory)
  • Two-wheeler with valid driving license
  • Local market knowledge is an advantage
