JOB DESCRIPTION – Agency ChannelPosition: Agency Development Manager (ADM) / Business Development Manager

Department: Agency Channel – Insurance

Location: AHMEDABAD

Reports To: Branch Manager / Sales Manager

Role ObjectiveTo recruit, train, and develop a team of insurance advisors/agents and drive them to achieve sales targets through effective relationship management and field activities.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & ActivationIdentify and recruit potential insurance advisors/agents.
  • Conduct interviews, onboarding, and licensing support.
  • Ensure active participation of advisors in business generation.
  • 2. Training & DevelopmentProvide product training and field support.
  • Conduct joint field calls with advisors to help them generate business.
  • Guide them on sales techniques, prospecting, and closing.
  • 3. Business DevelopmentAchieve monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets.
  • Generate business through advisors and ensure consistent performance.
  • Monitor advisor activity, productivity, and performance.
  • 4. Relationship ManagementBuild strong relationships with advisors to maintain engagement.
  • Motivate the team through regular meetings, incentives, and recognition.
  • Resolve any advisor issues and support them in closing deals.
  • 5. Compliance & ReportingEnsure proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of advisor performance and business reports.
  • Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines.
