Role SummaryWe are hiring a highly focused B2B field sales professional with core experience in industrial lubricants (metalworking fluids/cutting oils/industrial oils/greases) and/or carbide inserts/cutting tools. This is a target-driven field role involving new customer acquisition, trials, repeat order development, and collections in machining/manufacturing segments.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDrive end-to-end B2B sales for industrial lubricants and carbide inserts/cutting tools in assigned territory.
- Identify and onboard new manufacturing/machining accounts (CNC job shops, auto ancillaries, engineering units, fabrication).
- Conduct and manage product trials (lubricant trials / insert grade selection) and convert trials into repeat monthly business.
- Build strong relationships with shop-floor decision makers: Owner/Plant Head/Production/Stores/Purchase.
- Ensure weekly field plans, daily visits, pipeline updates, and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate with internal team for pricing, dispatch, credit approvals, and complaint resolution.
- Maintain payment follow-up & collections discipline; ensure healthy credit cycle.
- Track competitor activity and provide market inputs (pricing, brands, product gaps, customer feedback).
Mandatory Requirements (Strict – No Outliers)Please apply only if you match most of the below:
- 3+ years B2B field sales experience in industrial lubricants and/or carbide inserts/cutting tools.
- Experience selling to manufacturing / machining customers (CNC job shops, engineering units, auto ancillary).
- Strong ability to explain trial-to-approval process (what you tested, how you measured results, how you closed repeat orders).
- Comfort with field travel, daily customer meetings, and targets.
- Minimum education: 12th / Diploma / Graduate (any stream).
- Must have 2-wheeler and valid license.
- Good to Have (Preferred)Hands-on knowledge of metalworking fluids (MWF), cutting oil/coolant concentration basics, hydraulic/gear/compressor oils.
- Understanding of insert applications (turning/milling/threading/parting), grades/coatings, tool-life improvements.
- Existing network in machining clusters / industrial areas.
- Experience handling collections and dealer/distributor coordination.
