Role Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Accountant to join our team at HSVJ & Co. This role involves managing the accounts of clients across various sectors, including Proprietors, Partnerships, LLPs, and Private Limited Companies engaged in trading, manufacturing, and service businesses, both domestic and international.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for assigned clients.

• Assist in account finalization processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Conduct regular reconciliations and analysis of financial data.

• Provide support in GST, TDS, and Income Tax matters, including understanding regulations and implications for client accounts.

• Collaborate with senior team members to address client queries related to tax matters.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance in client accounting practices.

• Liaise with clients to gather information and provide financial advisory services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience 3 years in accounting, preferably in a CA firm.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Income Tax concepts and regulations.

• Experience in account finalization and preparation of financial statements.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Effective communication skills and client-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm is a definite plus.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or Zohobooks.
