Senior Manager - Airport Systems Lead (IT Engineering Manager)

• Developing system integration scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
• Developing and implementing strategies to connect different systems, ensuring they can share data and functionality
• Defining and managing API that allow different software applications to communicate with each other
• Defining and managing asynchronous data exchange between applications and as a part of data pipelines
• Ensuring high data quality and integrity to avoid operational failures and improve system accuracy
• Diving deep into the details to solve complex technical challenges
• Leading a partner team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them grow and succeed in their roles
• Maintaining comprehensive system integration documentation 
• Overseeing the technical aspects of backend development, including code quality, system architecture, and performance optimization
• Coordinating cross-functional to optimize processes and ensure that backend systems integrate seamlessly
• Implementing process improvements, especially cross-team processes, to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Undertaking technical and functional evaluation of third-party COTS applications 
• Support project management activities, resource monitoring, technical risk identification & mitigations

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualification is desirable

Certification Required

• Specific certifications in cloud computing or data management would be advantageous
• Professional certifications in technology, project management, or related fields would be advantageous

Experience

• 10-15 years of experience in technology engineering roles, preferably within the aviation industry
• Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing, integrating and managing technology systems and applications
• Proven experience in managing digital transformation initiatives and leveraging technology to enable business growth
• Strong background in coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing complex technical projects

• Experience with Data Warehouse solutions like Spark, Databricks, etc
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure Cloud.
• Knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, and AI/ML technologies
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
• Knowledge in tools like Docker and nginx.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
