Job Summary

The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and machinery at customer sites or in-house. The role ensures optimal machine performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company service standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• Install and commission machinery and equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic faults.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Conduct machine trials and performance testing.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Train customers/operators on machine operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams for issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Support spare parts identification and inventory coordination.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in servicing manufacturing machinery (preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, automation, and control panels (preferred).
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
