Job Description
- 1. Site ManagementSupervise day-to-day site operations
- Ensure work is completed as per plans and schedule
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and workers
- 2. Workforce SupervisionAssign duties to laborers and staff
- Monitor attendance and productivity
- Ensure proper discipline and teamwork on site
- 3. Quality ControlCheck quality of materials and workmanship
- Ensure work meets required standards and specifications
- Report any defects or issues to management
- 4. Safety ComplianceEnsure all safety rules and regulations are followed
- Conduct regular safety checks
- Make sure workers use proper safety equipment (PPE)
- 5. Material ManagementMonitor material usage and avoid wastage
- Keep track of stock and report shortages
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery
- 6. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain daily site reports
- Update progress to project manager
- Keep records of labor, materials, and work completed
- 7. Coordination & CommunicationAct as a link between management and workers
- Communicate instructions clearly to the team
- Resolve on-site issues quickly
- 8. Time ManagementEnsure project deadlines are met
- Plan work schedules efficiently
- Handle delays and take corrective actions
