Job Purpose: The Business Excellence Manager - Transmission is responsible for driving process improvements, operational excellence, and efficiency enhancements by implementing the Adani Business Excellence Model (ABEM). The role focuses on executing strategic process reengineering, leveraging data analytics, and integrating automation to optimize business performance. It ensures continuous improvement by conducting rigorous assessments, identifying process gaps, and fostering innovation to enhance organizational maturity. Additionally, the role strengthens business transformation efforts by aligning improvement initiatives with strategic goals and delivering measurable outcomes across the transmission business.

Business Excellence Manager-Tx

Process Reengineering & Digitalization Execution:

Manage BPM and BIC systems to track process performance, KPI monitoring, and MIS circulation, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.

Support the execution of ‘To-Be’ process development through BPM and BPR initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency improvements.

Optimize workflow automation by coordinating process digitalization projects, tracking implementation progress, and ensuring measurable efficiency gains.

Ensure alignment with ABEM principles by supporting the management of ABEM applications, coordinating process change documentation, and executing process optimization strategies.

Data-Driven Insights & KPI Tracking:

Develop, update, and monitor BSC and Process KPI dashboards, ensuring accurate performance tracking and continuous improvement through data analytics.

Identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities by analyzing KPI trends and providing data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Execute ABEM internal assessments, collecting feedback, identifying improvement actions, and ensuring corrective measures are implemented effectively.

ABEM Compliance & Continuous Improvement:

Monitor ABEM KPIs via dashboards, ensuring process adherence and identifying gaps to drive timely corrective actions.

Conduct regular ABEM compliance assessments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute process improvements and enhance operational effectiveness.

Strengthen business excellence initiatives by integrating continuous improvement methodologies into daily operations, ensuring adherence to ABEM frameworks.

Employee Capability Building & ABEM Training:

Facilitate the execution of ABEM Foundation and Assessor training programs, enabling employee adoption of business excellence methodologies.

Drive internal champion programs, awareness sessions, and TTT (Train-the-Trainer) initiatives, ensuring organization-wide competency development in business excellence.

Align employee training initiatives with process improvement goals, ensuring knowledge transfer and widespread adoption of best practices.

Employee Engagement & Business Excellence Competitions:

Promote a culture of excellence by leading internal engagement initiatives, including quizzes, competitions, and Knowledge Mall campaigns to drive participation and process awareness.

Enhance organizational benchmarking by coordinating external business excellence competition participation, ensuring visibility and recognition in industry forums.

Ensure continuous learning and process improvement by fostering knowledge-sharing platforms and internal best practice documentation.

Educational Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech., MBA preferred.

Work Experience (Range of years):

10-13 years of experience in Business Excellence, Process Improvement, or Quality Management, preferably in the energy sector.

Exposure to global Business Excellence frameworks.

Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, and other quality management methodologies.

Demonstrated experience in driving Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) initiatives, including hands-on use of process mapping tools like BIC or equivalent.

Experience in managing ISO standards and certifications, conducting internal audits, and ensuring compliance with quality systems.
