Tally Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry: Daily entry of sales, purchase, receipt, and payment vouchers.

Invoicing & Billing: Generate and issue customer invoices, and handle debit/credit notes.

Ledger & Inventory Management: Create and manage ledgers, groups, and stock items in Tally.

Bank Reconciliation: Match bank statements with Tally records.

Compliance & Reporting: Prepare GST tax computations, manage TDS, and assist with statutory audits.

Financial Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Software Knowledge: Proficient in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.

Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Education: Typically requires a B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting or data entry is preferred, though roles exist for freshers.

Soft Skills: High attention to detail, accuracy, strong numerical skills, and honesty.
