Job Description

Techno-Commercial Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Mechanical Design & Engineering (Design Focus)

·        Develop detailed mechanical designs, layouts, using CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc.) based on client requirements.

·        Create design and customize the machinery equipments and provide technical solution

2. Sales Coordination & Technical Sales (Sales Focus)

·        Identify potential customers and generate new business leads through market research.

·        Analyze customer requirements and provide technical presentations/demonstrations.

·        Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and tenders (often using MS Office/Excel).

·        Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with clients.

·        Follow up with clients to convert inquiries into finalized orders. 

3. Coordination & Support (Operations Focus)

·        Act as the liaison between the sales team, production, and procurement to ensure timely delivery of machinery.

·        Manage client inquiries, complaints, and provide after-sales technical support.

·        Maintain CRM records, including customer interaction logs, sales reports, and project status.

·        Coordinate with external partners, vendors, or agents for specialized components. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

·        Education: Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

·        Design Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and interpreting technical drawings.

·        Sales Skills: Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in machinery, industrial equipment, or automation.

·        Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiating and explaining technical concepts.

·        Experience: Generally 2-5+ years in a combined technical/commercial role.
