Techno Commercial - Team Member - Supplier Management

Responsibilities

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the entire supplier registration process, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Review, validate and approve supplier basic KYV (Know your vendor) documentation and mandated KYC information (e.g. GSTIN/ PAN/ CIN).
  • Maintaining the list of suppliers who has failed the qualification process or been blocked by the organisation. 

Transition and Operations Stabilization:

  • Manage the transition of new suppliers into the registration process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Facilitate training sessions and provide resources to help suppliers understand registration requirements.

Customer and Stakeholder engagement:

  • Collaborate with Users, BU Techno-commercial team, Finance team, Master Data Management (MDM) Team and compliance teams to align practices
  • Act as the primary contact for suppliers during the registration process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing support and collaboration.

Operations Process Improvement and Knowledge Management:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the supplier registration workflow.
  • Be the GCC Focal point and work with Business stakeholders in ensuring Process improvement program are aligned to Business needs.
  • Seek opportunities for AI / Automation implementation to reduce transitional activities

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Commerce or Management. MBA Preferred.
  • Certificate or proven exposure to Supplier Management operations. IIMM or CSM/ CPA preferred.
  • Experience in working in SAP MM, SAP Ariba SLP, MDG tool and Workflow driven Shared Services Environment. 

Experiences:

  • More than 2 years of experience in managing team preferably in a GCC or Shared Services context.
    • 3-5 years of experience in working in Projects, Assets, Infrastructure Manufacturing, Services organization in supplier registration.
    • 1-2 years’ experience in SAP Ariba (preferably in SLP module) and SAP MM.
  • Exposure to working in Indian conglomerates and working practices in promoter led organizations.

Knowledge and understanding of Quality, Safety, ESG and financial compliance required for supplier registration.
