Job Description
Job Summary: The Tele-Sales Executive is responsible for handling inbound and outbound sales calls,
managing the company’s Indiamart portal, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role
involves generating leads, following up with prospects, responding to inquiries via Outlook and other
platforms, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and excellent
customer service.
Lead & Data Management
• Manage and update all customer inquiries and leads from the India
MART portal.
• Enter and maintain accurate records of calls, inquiries, quotations,
and orders in spreadsheets/CRM.
• Generate daily/weekly sales reports and assist in basic data analysis.
Sales & Customer Follow-up
• Handle inbound calls/emails and make outbound calls to prospective
customers.
• Send quotations, negotiate pricing within given limits, and follow up
until order closure.
• Track payment status and coordinate with the accounts team for
timely collections.
Communication & Coordination
• Respond promptly to customer queries via Outlook, phone, and other
communication channels.
• Liaise with operations, dispatch, and accounts departments to ensure
smooth order processing.
• Maintain regular communication with repeat customers to strengthen
relationships.
Portal & Administrative Support
• Keep product listings, company profile, and responses on IndiaMART
updated.
• Assist in preparing sales documents, presentations, and follow-up
reports.
• Organize and maintain digital files and correspondence related to
sales activities.
Record Keeping & Reporting
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Conduct periodic checks to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
Other Duties
• Support team projects and promotional campaigns as assigned by
management.
• Help with basic office tasks such as maintaining contact lists and
tracking inventory of marketing materials.
Skills :
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant
software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of office management procedures.
