• Develop detailed cost estimates for ropeway projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and business objectives.
• Analyze project requirements and prepare comprehensive tender documents, including technical and financial proposals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for accurate cost estimation and tender preparation.
• Conduct market research to benchmark costs and identify cost-saving opportunities in materials, equipment, and services.
• Manage vendor relationships, including evaluating vendor proposals, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and records of all tendering and estimation activities for audit and reference purposes.
• Leverage technical expertise to propose innovative solutions that enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Support the Head Cost & Estimation in strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights and analysis.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of awarded contracts to ensure adherence to cost and quality benchmarks.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to ropeway projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience of 4 to 8 years in project cost estimation and analysis, preferably in infrastructure or ropeway projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, including evaluation, negotiation, and compliance.
• Strong background in preparing tender documents and managing the tendering process.

 

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced certifications in Cost Estimation or Project Management are preferred.

 

Years & Type of Experience

• 4 to 8 years of experience in cost estimation, tendering, and vendor management within infrastructure or related industries.
• Hands-on experience in managing large-scale projects with a focus on cost optimization and technical innovation.
