Transportation coordinator

- Transportation Planning and Coordination: Plan and supervise daily and weekly routes to ensure timely delivery, coordinate with warehouse staff for vehicle requirements, and track shipments.

- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors, negotiate contracts and rates, and manage vendor performance.

- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards, transportation laws, and regulations, and maintain necessary permits and licenses.

- Fleet Management: Oversee maintenance of transportation equipment, manage fleet vehicles, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.

- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and process shipping documentation, track shipments, and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, delivery times, and transportation costs.

- Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide updates on shipment status.
