Video Editor – Job Responsibilities

• Edit Raw Footage: Trim, rearrange, and enhance video clips to create polished final content.
• Add Effects & Transitions: Use visual effects, motion graphics, and smooth transitions to improve the visual appeal.
• Sound Editing: Synchronize audio, clean up background noise, and add background music or sound effects as needed.
• Color Correction & Grading: Adjust lighting, color tones, and contrast for a professional and consistent look.
• Storytelling: Understand project goals and creatively align the video structure to convey the intended message or story.
• Work with Creative Teams: Collaborate with content writers, designers, and marketing teams to align video with brand and campaign goals.
• Software Proficiency: Operate video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Meet Deadlines: Manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of edited videos as per project schedules.
• Organize Files: Maintain an organized database of footage, project files, and edited outputs for easy access and reuse.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with video editing trends, techniques, and tools to bring innovation to the editing process.
