VMC Machine Operator

A VMC Machine Operator proficient in Fanuc controllers sets up, operates, and monitors Vertical Machining Centers to produce high-precision metal parts. Key responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, performing tool/work offsets on Fanuc, loading programs, monitoring production, and inspecting finished parts to meet quality specifications, usually requiring 1–5 years of experience. 

Key Responsibilities (Fanuc Specific):

• Setup & Operations: Set up and operate VMC machines with Fanuc controllers, including loading raw materials and fixture setup.
• Fanuc Controller Management: Execute tool offsets , work offsets , and run programs in Auto/MDI modes.
• Program Editing: Perform minor Fanuc program edits
• Quality & Inspection: Inspect finished parts using precision instruments (vernier, micrometer) to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Maintenance: Conduct daily machine cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 1–5 years experience in operating VMC with Fanuc controls.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in reading engineering drawings/blueprints and understanding 
• Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
