Welder / Fitter

Position SummaryVardhman Industries is looking for an experienced Welder / Fitter to join our fabrication and production team. The ideal candidate should be skilled in welding, fitting, and interpreting engineering drawings, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.

• Key ResponsibilitiesWelding & FabricationPerform MIG, TIG, ARC, and/or Flux-core welding as required.
• Fit and assemble metal structures and components according to technical drawings.
• Cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
• Operate welding machines, torches, grinders, drills, and fabrication tools.
• Ensure weld quality meets company and industry standards.
• Blueprint Reading & LayoutRead and interpret fabrication drawings, sketches, and welding symbols.
• Measure, mark, and lay out components accurately before welding.
• Align and position parts using levels, squares, and measuring equipment.
• Quality & SafetyInspect welds for defects, structural stability, and dimensional accuracy.
• Follow all welding procedure specifications (WPS) and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report equipment issues, material shortages, or unsafe conditions.
