Welder / Fitter

We are looking for a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting and welding various metal parts, ensuring high-quality and accurate results while maintaining safety standards. The role requires expertise in both fitting and welding, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fitting:
• 
  
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fitting of parts.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and fitting of metal components to achieve precise assembly.
• Perform necessary adjustments and modifications to metal parts as needed.
• Welding:
• 
  
• Use welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) to join metal parts and structures according to specifications.
• Prepare surfaces to be welded by cleaning, grinding, and aligning metal pieces.
• Ensure welds are strong, clean, and meet safety and quality standards.
• Inspect and test welds for quality and integrity using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g., visual inspection, non-destructive testing).
• Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintenance:

• Regularly inspect and maintain welding equipment, hand tools, and machinery to ensure proper functionality.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work effectively with other team members and departments to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors and other team members.
