WordPress Developer (Design-Focused)

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a creative and technically proficient WordPress Developer to join our team. You won’t just be “plugging in” content; you will be responsible for both the back-end logic and the front-end aesthetics. The ideal candidate has a year of experience turning design mockups into responsive, high-performing websites and feels comfortable navigating both the WordPress dashboard and custom CSS.

• Website Development: Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using page builders (Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg) and custom themes.
• Visual Design: Implement modern UI/UX principles to ensure websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Customization: Write clean HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/PHP to customize themes and plugins beyond their out-of-the-box settings.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure fast loading speeds and mobile responsiveness across all browsers and devices.
• Maintenance: Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, perform regular updates, and manage site security/backups.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1+ years of WordPress websites experience (A portfolio showcasing at least 3-5 live projects).
• Self-starter and, a quick learner who enjoys working in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of PHP for WordPress hook/filter customization.
• Good to have experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills.

Technical Requirements

• CMS: Expert knowledge of WordPress (Installation, Configuration, & Security).
• Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop (for slicing assets).
• Front-End: Strong HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), and basic JavaScript.
• Page Builders: Hands-on experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or Oxygen.
• Optimization: Understanding of SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals.
