A car dealership Customer Relations Manager is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, handling inquiries and complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Key duties include managing customer feedback, coordinating with sales and service teams, and developing strategies for customer retention and loyalty. This role also involves analyzing customer data, overseeing post-sale follow-ups, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and dealership staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Customer management: Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback across various channels like phone, email, and social media.
  • Customer satisfaction: Monitor and improve customer satisfaction through surveys, feedback, and direct follow-up, especially after vehicle delivery or service.
  • Relationship building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers to foster loyalty and retention.
  • Sales and service coordination: Work with the sales team to address customer needs and preferences, and collaborate with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction with repairs and maintenance.
  • Data analysis: Analyze customer data to identify trends, generate insights, and develop strategies to enhance the customer experience.
  • Strategic planning: Develop and implement strategies for customer retention, conflict resolution, and improving overall customer service processes.
  • Product and service knowledge: Provide information on vehicle features, finance options, and warranty details to customers.
