Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented and motivated IoT Embedded Engineer with AI expertise to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IoT solutions integrated with AI capabilities for our product portfolio. This role requires expertise in embedded systems, firmware development, IoT protocols, and AI/ML integration.

Key ResponsibilitiesEmbedded System Development:

• Design and develop embedded systems for IoT products using microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
• Write efficient firmware in C/C++, Python, or other relevant languages
• Develop device drivers, bootloaders, and low-level software components
• Optimize code for memory, power consumption, and performance

IoT Integration:

• Implement IoT communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket)
• Develop connectivity solutions using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee, or cellular technologies
• Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT)
• Implement edge computing solutions for real-time data processing

AI/ML Implementation:

• Deploy AI/ML models on edge devices using TensorFlow Lite, Edge Impulse, or similar frameworks
• Implement intelligent features like predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, or pattern recognition
• Optimize AI models for resource-constrained embedded systems
• Develop algorithms for sensor data analysis and decision-making

Hardware-Software Integration:

• Collaborate with hardware teams for PCB design and component selection
• Perform hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
• Conduct testing and validation of embedded systems
• Create technical documentation and design specifications

Product Development:

• Participate in complete product development lifecycle from concept to production
• Implement OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware update mechanisms
• Ensure product quality, reliability, and security standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in deployed systems

Required QualificationsEducation:

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or related field

Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in embedded systems and IoT product development
• Proven experience with AI/ML integration in embedded systems

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
• Experience with microcontroller platforms (ESP32, STM32, Arduino, ARM Cortex)
• Knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and bare-metal programming
• Familiarity with IoT protocols and communication standards
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks for edge devices
• Understanding of sensor integration and signal processing
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Preferred QualificationsExperience with Python for AI/ML model development and deployment
• Knowledge of computer vision or natural language processing
• Familiarity with PCB design tools (KiCAD, Eagle, Altium)
• Experience with industrial IoT applications
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for IoT devices
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product certification requirements
