Job Description

The Spare Parts Assistant is responsible for managing inventory, issuing spare parts, maintaining stock records, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for maintenance and operations. The role requires attention to detail, basic technical understanding, and strong organizational skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and store spare parts and materials properly
  • Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or ERP system)
  • Issue spare parts against authorized requisitions
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock situations
  • Assist in stock audits and cycle counts
  • Ensure proper labeling, coding, and storage of items
  • Coordinate with procurement for ordering required parts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
  • Track fast-moving and slow-moving items
  • Handle documentation such as GRNs, issue slips, and stock registers
