Job Description
- Project Supervision and Planning: Overseeing daily site activities, managing subcontractor work, and ensuring construction aligns with structural designs, blueprints, and schedules.
- Technical Implementation: Setting out sites using GPS/theodolites, conducting surveys, and interpreting technical drawings to guide workers.
- Quality Assurance & Control: Ensuring materials (steel, concrete) are used correctly, conducting quality tests, and ensuring work meets building codes and standards.
- Safety Management: Enforcing health and safety regulations (OSHA, etc.) to minimize risks, inspecting sites for hazards, and ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Resource and Material Management: Estimating and managing raw materials to minimize waste, tracking inventory, and coordinating with suppliers.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining daily progress reports, site diaries, and logs for upper management and clients.
- Problem Solving: Addressing unforeseen technical difficulties, such as design feasibility issues or unexpected site conditions, and implementing solutions.
