Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Site Engineer (Civil) with experience in residential and commercial construction projects to support execution of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects. The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, quality checks, drawing interpretation, and daily project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand structural and civil drawings and execute work accordingly.
• Perform line-out of structures as per drawings at the project site.
• Prepare BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) for reinforcement steel.
• Prepare and submit daily site progress reports to the office.
• Conduct material quality checks for steel, cement, bricks, sand, aggregates, and other construction materials.
• Monitor day-to-day site activities and ensure smooth project execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site workers.
• Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Maintain site safety standards and compliance.
• Assist in team handling and workforce management.
• Use AutoCAD for reviewing and understanding project drawings.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of civil construction drawings
• Knowledge of reinforcement detailing and BBS preparation
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge
• Site supervision and execution skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Knowledge of construction material quality standards

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Preferred Experience

• Experience in residential or commercial building construction
• Exposure to WTP / STP / infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
