Job Description

We are seeking a versatile Admin cum Accountant to lead our daily financial and administrative operations. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of restaurant accounting—from Petpooja billing and inventory management to payroll and compliance. A critical part of this role involves managing our digital storefronts on Swiggy and Zomato, ensuring that backend complaints are redressed and revenue leakages (due to cancellations or disputes) are minimized.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial ManagementPetpooja Management: Execute daily billing, reconcile "Day End" reports, and ensure all payment modes (Cash, Card, UPI, Aggregators) match the system records.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage vendor payments, track outstanding dues, and maintain a digital/physical filing system for all invoices.
  • Banking: Handle daily cash deposits, bank reconciliations, and monitor petty cash expenses.
  • Taxation: Prepare data for GST filing, TDS deductions, and ensure compliance with local commercial laws.
  • 2. Aggregator Backend & Redressal (Swiggy/Zomato)Complaint Management: Monitor the "Partner App" for customer complaints regarding food quality, missing items, or spillages.
  • Dispute Resolution: Proactively contest "Wrongful Cancellations" or "Unfair Refunds" via the Swiggy/Zomato merchant helpdesk to recover lost revenue.
  • Payout Reconciliation: Audit weekly payouts from aggregators against Petpooja reports to identify discrepancies in commissions, logins, or hidden charges.
  • 3. Inventory & Cost ControlStock Tracking: Maintain real-time inventory in Petpooja (Raw Materials vs. Finished Goods).
  • Audit: Conduct weekly physical stock audits to identify "variance" or wastage and report food cost percentages to management.
  • Purchase Admin: Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement based on reorder levels.
  • 4. Payroll & HR AdminAttendance & Payroll: Manage staff attendance (biometric/manual) and calculate monthly salaries, including incentives, advances, and deductions.
  • Task Management: Assign and track non-kitchen tasks for floor staff and delivery riders, ensuring the facility maintenance schedule is followed.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: 2+ years in Restaurant Accounting or Retail Operations.
  • Tech Stack: High proficiency in Petpooja POS, MS Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables), and Tally.
  • Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Swiggy Partner and Zomato Merchant dashboards.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills for vendor management and a "detective" mindset for spotting billing errors.
  • Performance Metrics (KPIs)Variance %: Difference between system stock and physical stock.
  • Recovery Rate: Amount of money recovered from aggregator disputes.
  • Payout Accuracy: Zero discrepancy between Petpooja reports and Bank deposits.
