Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records for construction projects
• Handle site-wise and project-wise accounts
• Prepare and maintain cash book, bank book, journal entries, and ledgers
• Manage contractor, supplier, and vendor bills and ensure timely payments
• Verify RA bills, measurement books, and material invoices in coordination with site engineers
• Maintain records of material purchases, consumption, and stock
• Handle GST compliance including returns, reconciliation, and documentation
• Prepare TDS calculations, deductions, and filings
• Manage payroll processing, salaries, and statutory deductions
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and MIS reports
• Support audits by maintaining proper documentation and records
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, and management as required

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / MBA (Finance)
• Experience: Minimum 1–7 years (Construction / Real Estate experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Tally (Prime/ERP), MS Excel, and MS Office
• Ability to handle multiple project accounts
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
