Interior Designer

Responsibilities – Interior Designer

• Develop interior design concepts for hospitals, residential apartments, and commercial spaces in line with client requirements and project briefs
• Prepare space planning, layouts, and furniture arrangements ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and regulatory compliance
• Create 2D drawings including layouts, elevations, sections, and details for execution
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP consultants, and site teams for smooth execution of interior works
• Select and finalize materials, finishes, color schemes, furniture, lighting, and accessories
• Ensure designs meet hospital standards, hygiene requirements, patient comfort, and workflow efficiency
• Prepare 3D views / renders or coordinate with the 3D team for accurate visualization of interiors
• Assist in preparing BOQs, material specifications, and cost estimates for interior works
• Conduct site visits to ensure execution as per approved designs and drawings
• Resolve design and execution issues by providing timely technical solutions
• Coordinate with vendors, carpenters, and interior contractors for quality workmanship
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and project budgets
• Incorporate client and management feedback and revise designs accordingly
• Maintain proper documentation, drawings, and approvals
• Stay updated with latest interior design trends, materials, and products
• Ensure compliance with fire safety norms, NBC, and local regulations
• Support marketing and presentation requirements for interior proposals

• Knowledge of modular furniture, lighting design, and hospital interiors preferred
