Job Description
Key Responsibilities of a Restaurant Steward
- Dining Area Maintenance: Setting tables, cleaning/sanitizing surfaces, clearing dishes, and maintaining overall order.
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Ensuring all areas, utensils, and equipment meet food safety standards.
- Food & Beverage Support: Assisting servers with drink refills, delivering simple orders, and supporting the kitchen with prep/cleaning.
- Guest Assistance: Directing guests, providing basic service, and ensuring a pleasant experience.
- Stocking & Supplies: Keeping serving stations, bars, and dining areas stocked with essentials like cutlery, napkins, and glasses.
