Job Description

Manager - QA/QC

  • Purpose of Position
  • To enforce a project-wide quality management system ensuring compliance with codes, specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Major Responsibilities

• Prepare Quality Assurance Manual and inspection checklists.
• Set up and manage the site quality control lab.
• Conduct audits and inspections across all work fronts.
• Verify test reports, material approvals, and certifications.
• Report NCRs and ensure closure with corrective actions.

 

  • Qualification and Experience
  • Graduate in Civil/Materials Engineering/ Geology, with masters preferably in Civil engineering/ Concrete Engineering/ Materials engineering with experience as Third party Quality Assurance auditor with 10 years of similar experience.
  • Skills & Qualities:
  • Strong technical expertise in materials and construction quality.
  • Familiarity with IS codes and ASTM/BS standards.
  • Methodical and process-oriented approach.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Should have good leadership abilities and skills.
  • Should be able to manage a team under him.
  • Should have a pleasing personality
  • Good communication skills.
