Patient Care

Job Responsibilities:

Provide complete daily care to patients (male/female, all age groups)

Assist patients with bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting & mobility

Monitor and record vital signs (BP, Pulse, Temperature, SpO₂)

Administer medicines as prescribed (for nursing staff)

Assist doctors and nurses during procedures (if required)

Provide care for bedridden, elderly, paralytic, post-operative, ICU step-down, terminally ill patients

Handle catheter care, wound care, injections, Ryle’s tube feeding (as per qualification)

Maintain patient hygiene and infection control

Assist in patient positioning, turning, and pressure sore prevention

Provide emotional support and ensure patient comfort

Maintain daily patient records and report changes in condition

Follow hospital/home care protocols and safety guidelines

Patient Types Covered:

Elderly patients

Bedridden patients

Stroke / Paralysis patients

Post-surgery patients

ICU / Ventilator care (trained staff only)

Palliative & long-term care patients

Pediatric & adult patients

Required Skills:

Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Basic medical knowledge

Ability to work in shifts

Emergency handling skills

Qualification:

Staff Nurse: GNM / ANM / B.Sc Nursing

Attendant: GDA / Nursing Assistant / Experienced Caregiver
